Q: Where is the OGO composting toilet made?
A: OGO's composting toilets are proudly manufactured and assembled in Ohio, USA. The company places a strong emphasis on producing premium-quality products and prioritizes exceptional customer care. Despite being a small team, they are dedicated to providing excellent support to their customers.

Q: Does OGO work in a wet bath?
A: Yes, the OGO composting toilet is suitable for wet baths. To use it effectively in such environments, it's recommended to cover the top of the toilet. OGO suggests using a plastic bag or their specifically designed wet bath cover. For optimal performance, installation at the highest point in the shower or on a raised ledge is advised, as water may accumulate towards the bottom.

Q: How much does OGO™ Solids Bin hold?
A: The OGO™ Solids Bin has a capacity to hold 25-30 solids, depending on the number of users. Its cubic volume is approximately 785 cubic inches. For best results, OGO recommends starting the fill height of the medium at about 5-6 inches off the bottom of the solids bin, which is equivalent to approximately 430 cubic inches of starting material. The solids bin's dimensions are approximately 10-inch diameter and 10-inch height.

Q: How does OGO power up?
A: The OGO™ Compost Toilet operates on a 12v DC power system. For Off-Grid lifestyles, where some power source is usually available to run essentials, the OGO compost toilet can be easily wired to the existing power source. Additionally, there is an option to purchase a power adapter for a 110V outlet if needed. OGO believes that the minor power consumption is justified as it ensures proper agitation of the compost mixture during use, preventing unwanted odors.
