Q: How does Ecojohn work?
A: Just as the "incinerating" in incinerating toilet implies, It turns solid waste into sterile ash. It evaporates urine with the same process. To use your TinyJohn, you open the seat and apply wax paper liner provided by EcoJohn to the bowl. After you've applied your liner, you may use the toilet per usual.

Q: What is the warranty on the Ecojohn?
A: All Ecojohn products come with a standard 1-year factory warranty, and we have a strong technical support team if there are any questions during the install or later.

Q: Do incinerator toilets smell?
A: Incinerating toilets produce a slight burning odor just after the incinerator starts up, but this dissipates quickly, and it's less than the odor from a composting toilet. Depending on wind conditions, you and your neighbors might notice some odor outdoors from the exhaust vent, but this soon dissipates

Q: How long do incinerator toilets burn?
A: The air then flows (with help from a fan) to the outdoors through a vent pipe. The fan continues to run after the heating cycle fin- ishes to cool the incinerating unit. The entire cycle of burning waste to a small amount of ash takes from 1.5 to 1.75 hours. Advantages: • Units are self-contained and use no water.
